WOO tokenomics
WOO has a cap set at 3 billion tokens. After previous burns, the total supply has been reduced by almost 25% to 2.2 billion. Check the latest circulating and the total supply of WOO at Coingecko. This data was updated to reflect changes from the tokenomics revamp in Q1, 2023.
- All private, public, and seed rounds have fully vested as of Q4, 2022. Series A investors, which make up around 3% of the supply, are vesting over 3.5 years, lasting through 2025.
- 28% of the supply is retained for WOO ecosystem rewards, allocated to incentivize network usage and growth. Over 500m of these rewards were placed in a time-locked smart contract vesting over 5 years, until 2028.
- 10% of the tokens are vesting over 3.5 years to team members, advisors, WOO Ventures projects, and Series A investors.
- 12% is withheld for additional team, advisors, or investors. These tokens will be required to enter a 3.5 year vesting period after being allocated.
